Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking a Solution Owner to join our Professional Services team.

Tasks

• Analyze functional and technical solution requirements, data flows, and data formats.
• Create functional and design specifications for the proposed solution, focusing on overall Platform architecture and configuration, data pipelines, and parser design and functionality.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Product Owners, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Test Engineers to build and deploy solutions.
• Work with customers to conduct SIT, user acceptance testing, and other associated testing modalities.
• Transition solutions to Operations and Support at the conclusion of Professional Services projects.
• Assist in implementing tools, methodologies, and frameworks to streamline the delivery of the ZONTAL platform and associated pipelines, applications, and parsers.
• Support cross-functional Professional Services team members in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Execute on defined KPIs and contribute to established monitoring practices to support targeted improvements.
• Obtain customer feedback to improve ZONTAL's delivery effectiveness.
• Work with the Documentation team to help create customer-specific training materials. Deliver the associated trainings to customers.
• As a member of the Professional Services team, contribute to achieving ZONTAL’s financial goals and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellence in communication and quality.
• Work with Product Management and Development to optimize products to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of solution delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, product development or similar roles, preferably in the life sciences or software development industries.
• Proficiency in analyzing functional and technical requirements, data flows, and data formats.
• Experience creating functional and design specifications for platform architecture, data pipelines, and parser functionality.
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and ETL processes.
• Experience working with cloud-based solutions and data management platforms.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Understanding of FAIR data principles
• Basic proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and data transformation tools.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in transitioning solutions from project deployment to operational support.
• Ability to implement tools, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance solution delivery and pipeline efficiency
• Customer-facing experience with impeccable interpersonal skills to drive customer projects forward and deliver high quality outcomes
• Nice-to-have: Experience working with Scientific Data Management Systems (SDMS) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) and data format parsing. Familiarity with cloud service models, SaaS infrastructure, and related SDLC. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
