At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we're building the delivery of (almost) everything and you'll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn't always easy, but it's definitely exciting. Here you'll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You'll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you're a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
At Wolt, ensuring a healthy courier supply is core to our success. Over the years, we've built robust forecasting and planning frameworks to support this goal year-round. As our tools and capabilities grow more advanced, so does the complexity of managing courier supply across our global regions.
To address this, we're creating a specialized global team to oversee courier supply management across all Wolt countries and we're now looking for a Senior Specialist, Global Courier Supply to join this team and help take ownership of this critical area.
This role sits at the crossroads of data, strategy, and operations. You'll combine analytical rigor with structured planning to forecast demand, track performance, and solve complex supply challenges. Just as importantly, you'll excel at stakeholder management - building strong relationships across both regional and central teams to align priorities and drive action.
You will be part of a global team that continuously develops deeper insights and capabilities while ensuring that regional realities are reflected in long-term global strategies. The ideal candidate thrives on bringing structure to complexity, is highly analytical, and takes a proactive, hands-on approach to creating impact. Beyond the numbers, you're someone who can bridge data with relationships - turning insights into decisions and decisions into results.
What You'll Be Doing
Forecasting & Planning:
Define and manage operational forecasts and supply plans for your region, taking into account global insights and local nuances like holidays, events, and seasonality.
Collaborate with central teams such as finance, procurement, and product to align on bi-annual planning and ensure regional priorities are well-represented.
KPI Tracking & Optimization:
Monitor daily and weekly performance of courier acquisition and activation KPIs to maintain an optimal supply-demand balance.
Proactively identify challenges and take corrective actions, such as launching referral campaigns, accelerating applicant activation, or reactivating inactive couriers.
Analysis & Insights:
Leverage data to analyze trends, evaluate the effectiveness of supply strategies, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
Use tools like Looker, SQL, Python, R, and Excel to create actionable insights, while maintaining a pragmatic and strategic mindset.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
Build strong partnerships with local operations, performance marketing, and product teams to align on performance goals and execute improvements.
Act as the go-to expert for your region, ensuring local realities inform global strategies and decisions.
Align stakeholders of various job levels by communicating insights and recommendations clearly.
Experimentation & Process Improvement:
Use experimentation (e.g., A/B testing) as one of many tools to test hypotheses and refine strategies for improving courier acquisition, onboarding, and activation performance.
Contribute to the development of global best practices and frameworks that improve forecasting, planning, and overall supply management.
We are looking for someone with:
Analytical Expertise: 3+ years of analytical experience. Strong skills in SQL, Looker, and Excel are required; Python or R is a strong plus.
Strategic Thinking: You're able to connect the dots between data, strategy, and execution, always focusing on the bigger picture.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Skilled at managing complex stakeholder networks and collaborating across central, regional, and local teams. You ensure alignment, balance priorities, and drive effective execution in a global context.
Attention to Detail: You thrive on bringing structure to complexity, ensuring forecasts and plans are precise and reliable.
Collaborative Mindset: You work well in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive results.
Proactive Ownership: You're curious, hands-on, and never settle for the status quo. You actively look for ways to improve processes and performance.
Cultural Fit: You lead with humility, collaboration, and a "best idea wins" mentality while fostering a positive, respectful work environment.
