About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will shape the platform that enables our engineering teams to build and run reliable, scalable services. You take ownership of core infrastructure, drive automation, and simplify complex systems to improve stability and developer productivity.
This is a highly technical role focused on building robust cloud infrastructure, improving platform reliability, and enabling fast, safe deployments. You work across GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux, with the autonomy to identify improvements and the responsibility to ensure systems run smoothly in production.

What you'll do

• Infrastructure Architecture & Operations : Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and maintainability across environments.
• Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Automation: Design, build, and standardize Kubernetes-based platform components and cloud infrastructure using Terraform and automation.
• CI/CD & Deployment Workflows: Build and improve automated deployment pipelines and workflows to support reliable and efficient releases.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve production issues across infrastructure and platform layers, ensuring fast recovery and root cause understanding.
• Operational Excellence: Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and operational stability.
• Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams on infrastructure requirements and platform improvements.
• Risk & Change Management: Assess infrastructure changes for operational impact and ensure safe, controlled rollouts.
• Continuous Improvement & Ownership: Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

What you’ll need

• DevOps / Platform Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or infrastructure-focused roles in production environments.
• Google Cloud Platform: Very strong hands-on experience with GCP and designing, operating, and scaling cloud-native infrastructure in production.
• Terraform & Infrastructure as Code: Deep expertise in Terraform, including modular design, state management, and maintaining large-scale Infrastructure as Code setups.
• Kubernetes: Very strong understanding of Kubernetes and running containerized workloads in production environments.
• Linux Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of Linux systems, including operating system behavior, performance, and troubleshooting.
• System Thinking & Troubleshooting: Ability to analyze complex systems and debug issues across infrastructure and platform layers.
• Cloud & Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking concepts, and core security principles.
• Automation Mindset: Experience building automated workflows and reducing manual operational tasks.
• Ownership & Proactivity: Self-driven working style with the ability to identify improvements and take responsibility for platform quality.
• Collaboration & Communication: Clear and structured communication when working with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
