We work with international corporations in the field of optical communications technology and micromanufacturing. We are looking for a qualified engineer or physicist with industry experience to join our research and development team in Karlsruhe.
You will be responsible for the development of cutting-edge micro-optics for optical test and measurement. You will have access to a laboratory and cleanroom environment with a stateof-the-art 3D micro-printer. Your main tasks
• Improve and develop new 3D printing strategies and intelligent in-line monitoring processes
• Integrate new measurement methods and automation in quality control
• Develop and validate wave-optics simulation
• Extend our fabrication capabilities towards novel functionalities and features
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in engineering, optics, physics, or similar
• At least 2 years of hands-on research or development experience in an industrial
context
• Ideally, experience in the test sector
