We are looking for an experienced Onsite Support Technician (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main. You will be responsible for providing technical user support on site and ensuring smooth IT operations within the framework of a professional walk-in centre and classic on-site support.

Service hours: Mon–Fri 6 a.m.–9 p.m., weekends 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

Tasks

  • Support for the walk-in centre (stand-in/bring-in kiosk) and provision of support services on site
  • First and second level support for users in the areas of Windows client, MS Office and standard software
  • Warehousing and logistics for shipping and remote locations
  • Remote support for users and technicians
  • Mobile device management (MDM) including SIM card management
  • Coordination of hardware repairs with external service providers
  • Staging and image loading as well as managed deployments
  • Asset clearing and documentation in the asset management system
  • Conference room and meeting room support (audio/video equipment, connections, etc.)
  • Hands-and-eyes support for server or network issues on site

Requirements

  • Experience as an on-site technician or in hardware/ software support
  • Knowledge of error analysis in Windows client environments (OnPrem)
  • Basic knowledge of network and server technologies (e.g. cabling, reboots, patching)
  • High service orientation, ability to work in a team and proactive approach
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Willingness to work shifts (Service hours: Mon–Fri 6am-9pm, Sat 9am-7pm) and occasionally travel to Brussels
  • Certificate of good conduct must be presented at the start of the project
  • ITIL certification is an advantage
