Join our Financial Planning & Analytics team and play a key role in shaping the growth story of AUTO1 Group. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to deep dive into a variety of financial projects, communicate with key business stakeholders, and help shape our core processes.

Our Financial Planning & Analytics team supports the management in establishing business objectives, developing action plans and monitoring results. We produce accurate & timely financial reporting and analyze financial KPIs used by management for decision-making, including live profitability reporting.

• Track new business initiatives efficiently and accurately in our databases, and implement relevant data into live profitability reporting.

• Control and analyze spending across our business lines in Europe, acting as a business partner by bridging Accounting and Operational P&L perspectives.

• Drive the automation of reporting and controlling tasks, implement your own ideas, and collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence department.

• Write and review SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data for live profitability reporting.

• Evaluate the financial performance of products, services, and countries, generating insightful reports and dashboards to facilitate decision-making for top management.

• Identify and resolve data quality issues, and drive these initiatives with stakeholders across Europe.

• You are a student or recent graduate from university, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or another relevant field.

• You have relevant working experience through previous internships or student jobs in financial business reporting, controlling, or analytics.

• You are not only comfortable with numbers, but also enjoy communicating your insights to others.

• You have an analytical mindset paired with excellent Excel skills; experience with SQL, dbt, or Oracle is a strong advantage.

• You are solution-oriented and eager to automate and improve existing processes.

• You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
