We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/PMO to join a global energy group's infrastructure department. The primary focus of this role is to coordinate and manage efforts for the replacement of obsolete infrastructure across various domains, including data centers, Windows, databases, Linux, and hypervisors.

Your tasks
• Conduct scoping and inventory analysis using technical data tools and CMDB repositories
• Collect and define migration scenarios in close consultation with project and technical teams
• Plan and facilitate working meetings with Domain System Administrators and application managers to define upgrade targets for servers
• Validate migration scenarios with application managers to ensure alignment with business requirements
• Coordinate and lead working meetings with external vendors involved in the implementation of infrastructure upgrades
• Monitor project actions and handle escalations to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Maintain and monitor project activities in alignment with the technology master plan
• Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to present cross-functional changes to various stakeholders
• Manage project governance and reporting through weekly project committees and internal alignment meetings
Must have competences
• 3 to 5 years of professional project management experience
• Strong knowledge of Prince2 and Agile project methodologies
• Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, databases, and hypervisors
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating external vendors
• Fluency in English
• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience in coordinating efforts for the replacement or upgrade of obsolete IT infrastructure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Nice to have competences
• Fluency in French
• Experience with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and technical inventory analysis tools
Additional information
The project is scheduled to start in May. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is considered a significant advantage. The client has a sourcing preference for candidates located in Romania or Poland.
