acemate is building an AI learning & teaching platform for higher and further education institutions. We have strong traction, secured funding and are entering an exciting growth phase. We're looking for a passionate Full-Stack Developer (Working Student) to drive our product forward and help us scale.

Tasks

What You'll Do

Depending on your passions and skills, your position will adapt over time, encompassing both technical infrastructure and product development. Acting as a foundational member of the team, you will wield considerable impact over our technical architecture, product direction, and broader strategic vision.

Product Development:

• Develop brand-new features while upgrading current functionalities in close collaboration with Paul and Emile
• Gather insights from our user base and turn that feedback into actionable product upgrades

Technical Leadership:

• Guarantee system scalability and resilience throughout our continued growth
• Constantly optimize our AI toolchains to capitalize on the most recent breakthroughs in AI
• Operate with state-of-the-art technology primarily constructed around Cloudflare and Google Cloud

Previous examples of what you might build:

• Duolingo-inspired daily quiz system designed to keep students actively involved with university course material
• Complex AI pipelines capable of pulling visual and text-based data from varied documents to embed subjects into knowledge graphs
• Custom authorization engine created to manage the increasing complexity spanning various institutional environments

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
• Infrastructure: Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, Workflows, R2, KV), Google Cloud (Gemini, Cloud Run)
• Tools: Sentry, Langfuse, PostHog, Stripe
