Aufgaben

🌟 Role Impact

• Develop ML models for environmental data analysis and bioacoustics
• Process and analyze satellite imagery and sensor data
• Create biodiversity indicators from multiple data sources
• Collaborate with senior scientists on core algorithms

📋 Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis

• Develop and improve species detection algorithms
• Process and analyze earth observation and sensor data
• Create data-driven environmental health indicators
• Validate and test ML models

Development

• Write clean, documented Python code
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines
• Implement scientific papers and methods
• Contribute to our core ML framework

Collaboration

• Collaborate with senior scientists on environmental research
• Support hardware team with edge ML models
• Help improve data collection methods
• Document findings and methods

Qualifikation

🎓 Requirements

• 2-4 years data science experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Background in environmental science or similar
• Knowledge of geospatial data processing
